The Vendor's View

We moved to Deal some 20 years ago because we liked the quaint little shops, conservation area and friendly atmosphere. We chose this house because we wanted a property with character and something that was large enough to accommodate the whole family. We entertain a lot at home and the large kitchen/diner is perfect for this. With five bedrooms there is plenty of space to accommodate anyone who wants to visit. We can park our cars on Friday and don t have to use them again until Monday because everything we need is within easy walking distance. Another benefit is that we can work from home as we have internet and telephone connections to our main office. This has been a wonderful home for us all with its close proximity to the local shops, schools and railway station with its fast train link to London. It s also close to the ferry port in Dover and the Euro Tunnel in Folkestone, so travelling to the Continent is very easy and the house is a perfect lock up & leave property, which is also why we find the low maintenance courtyard garden really convenient. When we want to chill out, there are ample coffee shops, restaurants and wine bars nearby to meet with our friends and neighbours. The Cinque Ports Golf Club is very close and the beach is less than 100 yards away. If you look closely on a warm summer evening, you can see us sitting in our chairs on the beach, glass of wine in hand watching the world go by Perfect!
