The Vendor's View
Having lived in Faversham for quite some time, my parents knew the area well and were keen to buy this house off plan when they heard of these houses being built by the creek. Number 18 is situated at the widest part, which is a turning circle for all of the boats and this was a real draw for them. The front room is everyone s favourite room, overlooking the water, where there is always something to see, whether it be boats or the abundance of wildlife. The bedroom also has a wonderful view over the creek and it s lovely to wake up there in the morning to see and hear the water. It s incredibly peaceful and tranquil here, and when you re sat next to the creek, you d never imagine how close you are to the town. The location is ideal, offering you a peaceful countryside feel, and yet just a short stroll from the town centre, and a couple of minutes into the countryside with walks all the way to the coast and not far from the coast. Faversham is a lovely market town, with so much going on and a friendly community. The historical architecture is amazing, and there is a lovely arty atmosphere here with beautiful independent shops and artisan cafes. There are plenty of excellent local schools to choose from for anyone with a family, and the train station offers the fast service to London St. Pancras in just over an hour, making this an ideal property for commuters. I will miss sitting out on the front porch in the summer time with my parents, watching the wildlife and the boats go by.
