The location was what first attracted us to the house. It's just a minutes walk to the large green area on the Royal Esplanade, which overlooks the sandy beach of Westbrook. Pembroke Avenue has the least amount of houses of all the avenues leading down to the Royal Esplanade, so it s a very quiet place to live.Our home has many lovely original features that include a large welcoming entrance to the property with feature paneling and staircase. The house has undergone extensive refurbishment in the last three years that include a new fitted kitchen with Siemens appliances, along with two new bathrooms.The house is located between Westgate town and the main shops at Westbrook, Margate. There is a lovely family run cinema located in Westgate, and direct train links to London from Westgate and Margate train stations. We love the peace and quiet of living on Pembroke Avenue. Having the sandy beach at the bottom of the Avenue is priceless in our opinion, and this is what we will miss the most when we move. Its a truly beautiful family home and I'm sure we will miss the overwhelming feeling of space when we say goodbye!
