The Vendor's View

We loved the unique character of the house, the space offered by all the rooms and the secluded feel of the garden. When we walked in through the front door, there was a definite wow! factor. We ve many favourite features, especially the inglenook fireplace, which looks amazing when occupied by a tree at Christmas. We also like the huge bedrooms including the master bedroom, and the impressive garden. We look out on an interesting 12th Century church, and our neighbours are friendly. There is a useful local shop, two pubs and two takeaways. There are a couple of GP surgeries locally (one is four minutes walk). Astor theatre has a range of activities, with musical evenings, films, classes and community events. There are a number of local primary and secondary schools, some of which are rated outstanding . Deal High Street can be reached by foot or by car, containing a wealth of local independent and national shops, along with diverse cafes, pubs and restaurants. Since living in Deal we have become very keen walkers. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and we have spent many happy years enjoying exhilarating walks along the coast and through the countryside. We live in the old part of Deal with its fascinating maritime history, yet it is also within easy reach of London via the high-speed train and historic cities like Canterbury. The space here is phenomenal; the many rooms have allowed us to enjoy having an office each and a music room as well as lounge, dining room, kitchen, very large bedrooms and two cellars! The accommodation is extremely versatile and could be put to a variety of uses.
