The Vendor's View

We were first attracted to this handsome, well-built, mid-19th Century building due to its delightful location, with extensive views over the English Channel. Along with easy access to the beach and promenade, it is also conveniently close to both rail and bus services. Our favourite room is probably the lounge, with its covered loggia overlooking the sea. We also love to spend time in the kitchen which opens out onto decking, overlooking the Channel. The property provides excellent access to local schools and amenities. Sandgate is a very friendly and supportive community with quaint village shops and good local pubs. The bus and train services are just a short walk away. We find that this is a very relaxing place to live. We enjoy visiting the local restaurants and pubs, and taking advantage of the easy access to the beach, as well as the cycle way along the promenade to Hythe and Folkestone. We will miss sitting on the patio sipping a G&T overlooking the English Channel, a sight that never becomes dull. On a more practical note, we ll also miss the spacious, well-proportioned rooms, along with the variety of excellent storage space in the house.
