The Vendor's View

We were initially attracted to the property by its size and location. Right on the High Street, it also had scope for us to change the make up of the rooms to suit us perfectly. At the time I worked from home but also worked in central London a few days a week and the commute was just possible, it has since much improved with the high speed trains. We will be sorry to leave 174, it has been our home and has many happy memories for us.Our favourite two areas of the house are the large kitchen/diner, where we entertain and spend many hours cooking, a passion for both of us; and also the master suite, which is a delightful place for a long lay in with the Sunday newspapers!Deal is a very friendly town and we have made many friends locally since moving to the High Street. The beach and footpath to Kingsdown are favourite spots. It was important for us to have a house from where we would be able to walk to all the shops we need each week, and Deal has met all those expectations.We will miss the space, the kitchen/diner in particular and all the extended meals we have had with our friends over the years and the location. However, as part of our retirement plan we are aiming to downsize, but still move locally so that we can enjoy all the benefits that Deal has to offer.
