We love the character of our house and it’s probably this which has kept us here for over quarter of a century. We brought up our children here and about 20 years ago made the decision to extend and we used a really good builder to ensure that we didn’t lose the charm of the house.
Having privacy is also important for us and the garden offers us that and it is one our favourite aspects of our home. Now our children have grown up our grandchildren are the ones that love being out there with us.
Being so close to the town is really very handy and we often pop to the shops on foot but there is a shop just over the road. Our children all went to school nearby which meant we could avoid the school run traffic!
